ith his ability to play a number of roles in a unique and hilariously funny way, Adam Sandler has starred in a number of great comedy movies in the last few years. I love the way that he often plays a calm character but then has the most amazing outbursts when he is driven to breaking point. There are classic examples of this in Happy Gilmore as well as The Wedding Singer. Do you like Adam Sandler's movies, and if so which is your favorite?

Adam Sandler plays Robbie, a wedding singer who keeps running out of luck. His fiancee leaves him stranded at the altar, and he goes on a downhill spiral until he meets Julia (played by Drew Barrymore) who he falls in love with. She is however engaged to a real ass who enjoys playing around. If you haven't seen this, it's a classic and hilarious.
Adam Sandler falls for a pretty girl (played by Drew Barrymore) at an out of the way bar in Hawaii. The only problem is that she suffers from short term memory loss, and every 24 hours wakes up remembing nothing of the previous day. Adam has to come up with a way to cure her and to help her to remember him. It's a very cute and often very funny movie.
Adam Sandler play Happy Gilmore, a failed Ice Hockey player who can't skate. When his Grandmother loses her house, Happy finds out by accident that he can hit a golf ball 400 yards, and ends up taking part in a series of golf tournaments to try and earn enough to buy Grandma her house back. With classic Sandler outbursts and a total lack of knowledge of the game of golf, this is one of his all time classic movies.
Adam plays Bobby Boucher, a simple boy from the Bayou, whose mother (Kathy Bates) does her best to protect him from the outside world. Bobby is a waterboy for the local college team, but when the coach finds that he is amazing tackler, he finds a way to get Bobby into college and into the team. Great performances by Kathy Bates, "The Fonz" Henry WInkler" and Bobby's "hot" girlfriend Fairuza Balk.
Probably the best known of Adam's early movies, sees him having to go back and resit each year of school for a week to graduate, and then take over his Dad's company. It's a complicated plot, with a lot of side stories, and Adam's interaction with the children of his elementary classes is brilliantly funny.
